Weddings in Tollywood
It’s wedding season in Tollywood as stars and star kids are getting married or prepping to tie the knot soon. Be it the actors, or the children of famous of artistes in the Tollywood Cinema, the glitz and glamour of the big fat weddings on the reels are becoming real. Slated in December are the weddings of two star kids. The first one is of Kavya Kona, the daughter of one of the most celebrated writers of Tollywood, Kona Venkat. Kavya, who works in New York’s Fraud and Dispute Services Department of Ernst & Young, is getting married to her childhood beau, Yelamanchili Ravi Kumar. The two studied together in high school. The two surprised their families with the sudden news of their decision to get married. The families, however, will give their blessings at their pompous wedding at Jalavihar in Nechlace Road. The other wedding will be of Tollywood actor Brahmaji’s son, Sanjay, who will be tying the knot with Indrakshi, a girl from Bengal, who is a fashion designer. Sanjay, himself, works as a marine officer. The wedding will be held in Kolkata, while a reception will probably be thrown in Hyderabad for Brahmaji’s close friends in the Tollywood industry. The recent weddings of star kids were of actor NandamuriBalakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini to Sri Bharat, and Ram GopalVarma’s daughter, Revathy’s wedding to Tollywood actor, Pranav.
Tollywood actors who are tying the knot
Tollywood actors, too are in the mood for wedding. After the marriage of elder brother and actor Manchu Vishnu with Viranica Reddy, actor Manchu Vinod is up next. It has been confirmed that he will be getting married to the daughter of a TDP leader. Although there were rumours and link-ups of Vinod with several co-actors like SnehaUllal, this girl from the political family’s set to be his wife. Actor Prabhas, though, is going through several controversies related to his wedding. His fiancé’s parents, KrishnamRaju who is a rebel star, want the wedding to take place by the end of the year. But, due to Prabhas’ involvement in the Bahubali project which will take up two years, his marriage plan is on the rocky side of the road. Prabhas, too, has been the centre of many speculations and link-ups with actors like Trisha and Kajal, and at one point of time, an engineering student. Many of the eligible bachelors of Tollywood have become unavailable quite recently, the most talked about one of them being RanaDaggubati. Rumour has it that he got hitched to actress Nayanthara in a hush-hush wedding with close friends and family. AlluArjun, Ram CharanTeja, UdayKiran and Gopichand are some of the other actors of the tinsel town who have settled down recently.
