Gabbarsingh crossed landmark of 20cr in Nizam

Pawan Kalyan starrer Gabbar Singh the remake of Salman Khan’s movie Dabang had generated yet another historical record in Nizam area. The movie had become the highest grosser in the Telugu cinema according to the industry report. Ever since the movie got released it has accomplished to create fresh records at the ticket counter and was reigning the perch at the porch.

The movie had collected an enormous amount of 20 crores of Rupees in just 47 days in Nizam area. According to the trade analysts, it was an implausible record, as the actor was in the low phase of his career during the last few years at the box office.

With this amazing achievement, the movie was at the second position to cross the mark of Rs. 20 crores in Nizam area. The previous highest grosser was with Magadheera with Ram Charan whose box office collection in Nizam area was Rs.23.5 crores. While we are on the subject, the third highest grosser in this area was the movie Robo which collected Rs.15.5 crores at the box office.

The movie was produced by Bandla Ganesh under the banner Paremeswara Arts. The movie was made under the direction of Harish Shankar.

Box office collection

Power packed star Pawan Kalyan had made himself an undisputed king of the box office with the movie Gabbar Singh. Apart from Nizam area, the movie collected around Rs.42.55 crores worldwide in its first week of release creating records in the Telugu film industry. There were no signs of dropping in the second week of box office collections as well. The movie had collected the highest figure for any Telugu movie till date within just weeks. In just three weeks, the movie collected a net amount of Rs.64.91 crores as per the industry sources. Not only in the South the film had also done outstanding business overseas. Amid the movies of Hyderabad, Gabbar Singh stood as a recorded houseful collection due to the Pawan fans in the city.

The movie was completed with a budget of Rs.30 crores and was released across the globe on May 11, 2012. It had received overwhelming responses wherever the movie was released. In just three weeks, the movie collected a whopping Rs.128.75 crores together in both domestic and international markets.

Gabbar Singh had broken all records that were made by the movies Dookudu and Magadheera and had set its own new and very big mark in the Telugu film industry.

The recent release of the power star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Atharintiki Daaredhi’ is setting new records at the Telugu box office. The film has crossed the mark of Rs.20 crores in Nizam area in just few days. Collections of the movie are strong and everyone is eagerly waiting for the recreation of the actor’s magic similar to Gabbar Singh. The movie is anticipated to end up as the highest grosser in the Telugu film industry.

The production house of the movie ‘Atharintiki Daaredhi’ was jolted because of the piracy of the movie before its release and thus  no one expected it to earn such incredible revenue.
