After opting out of Madhur Bhadarkar’s Heroine attributed to her pregnancy, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan can reportedly be leading in Mani Ratnam’s next. Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been out of action for almost 3 years, who has been on a sabbatical post the birth of her daughter Aaradhya two-years-ago, is ready to create a return on the big screen in a movie directed by her favorite filmmaker Mani Ratnam film. The actor who started her acting career with Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar way back in 1997, now former miss universe  is ready to make a comeback on big screen with a movie directed by him.

According to reports, Aishwarya Rai has given her consent to the Mani Ratnam film. A source says, “Mani Ratnam has nearly completed the scripting methodology and has approached Mahesh babu and Nagarjuna. Yes, the joy inside the industry is that the actress has been approached by Mani’s team to star in his Tamil-Telugu bilingual, that is additionally seeming to possess Mahesh Baboo, Nagarjuna and Fahadh Faasil in the cast. There has been a good deal of speculation  as to the previous beauty can make a comeback on the silver screen.

 Even though Aishwarya has not been seen in films for the past 3 years, she has remained in the limelight via ad campaigns and international film festivals. Apparently, Aishwarya always wanted to create a comeback along with her favorite directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali or Mani Ratnam. The film is an Adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier’s 1938 novel Rebekah. Rebecca, the novel is a spouse freshly woman who is regularly compared to the first mate of her husband by the servant.

Aishwarya Rai, who is extremely close to Mani Ratnam, has worked with him in ‘Iruvar’, ‘Guru’ and ‘Raavan’. Mani Ratnam shares a wonderful equation with Abhishek and Ashwareya. However, a source reveals, now he’s about to direct a movie that has a terribly sturdy feminine protagonist’s character. He has worked with the couple in Guru and Raavan. But for his next he needs only the actress.

If the project comes through, this can be an Aishwarya’s first film after the birth of her child. Apparently, she was supposed to perform for an item song in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram-Leela. But Aishwarya wished some changes within the lyrics that Sanjay refused.
