Ram Charan’s father Chiranjeevi is an Indian actor as well as a producer. He has been primarily a part of Indian Cinema. He is also engaged in politics and is a member of Indian National Congress. He is in charge for Ministry Of tourism in Government of India. In the year 2008 he started his political career by establishing a political party in Andhra Pradesh. The name of the party was Praja Rajyam. He was elected a member of state assembly in 2009. In the later year 2011 his party merged with Indian National Congress. One year after merging he gained a Rajya Sabha seat in 2012 and in October he took charge of ministry of Tourism. Ram Charan is himself a great Indian actor working for the Telugu film industry. He is a winner of many awards at the industry. He has endorsed many famous brands like Pepsi and Airtel. He has two uncles Pawan Kalyan and Nagendra Babu who are entering politics presently.
Dad’s supporter
Ram Charan comments that he has always been a supporter of his dad. Since his childhood times he has been an obedient son and up till now he has never stood against his dad in any stage of life. So he has said the reason for him coming to politics is not that he is interested in this field but the main cause is his feeling of respect and obedience for his father which he has been proving since he was a child.

He only said that all the people have grown-up individually and they have their own different paths. Even he himself has his own path. He simply said that his Pawan and Nagababu uncle have their own path and methods and he has no right to oppose them in any way. He commented that he does not have much knowledge about power star Pawan’s entry in politics and he has no right to stop him and be in opposition to his decisions. He is always ready to support him personally. But he has decided to support his dad in all ways in his political career.
