Prithviraj and Amala Paul roped in for Sugeeth's 'light thriller'

Sugeeth, the much acclaimed filmmaker of Tollywood is set to produce a film which is set to be entirely different from Onnum Mindathe, the last family entertainment flick that he rendered to his audiences or rather from all the rest that he has already made. For this special project of his, it is said that Amala Paul and Prithviraj have been talked into teaming up for the lead roles in the movie for Sugeeth. There is also speculation that the director has called his next project to be a ‘light thriller’.

Sugeeth very clearly mentioned in a recent interview that he had a novel entertainer in his mind and wanted to make it come alive in the reel for all his audiences to enjoy. He also said that this piece of project will get a one-of-a-kind treatment from his end and he is going to go all out to achieve that. Although he said that none of the other details can be revealed now but substantial information has already been put out there. The dates for the start of the shooting of the film has not been finalised yet and the director has claimed to start as soon as the convenient dates are zeroed in on.

Apart from this current project making news, the director is also set to work with Kunchacko Boban again. After teaming up with him in his previous films like Ordinary, 3 dots etc. he is slated to star in yet another of Sugeeth’s films.This film that will star Kunchacko and is named ‘Ithanda Police’ is said to be an out and out entertainment package. The director said that they were trying to start working on this film by September of this year. However there are other details in this movie that are yet to be confirmed. The heroine for the film has not yet been cast neither have the other characters been confirmed. Meanwhile, there are a string of other projects for Kunchacko round the corner which are slated for release one after the other. One of them is with LijinJose, he is also starring in ‘How Old Are You’ by with Manju Warrier directed by Rosshan Andrew and also in ‘Polytechnic’ with Bhavana directed by Padmakumar.

It is needless to say that Sugeeth’s fans have a plateful to enjoy with his projects that are coming up soon. The man sure knows how to keep his fans happy and rooted.
