Vishal continues to Enthral Telugu audience

Vishal Krishna Reddy, who is more famously known by his stage name, Vishal, is one of the most critically acclaimed actors of Tamil and Telugu cinema. He debuted in the film industry with the Tamil romantic thriller named Chellamae which was released in the year 2004, and was an instant hit. After that, he also grabbed the lead roles in the films, Sandakozhi in the year, 2005, Thimiru in 2006, and Thamirabharani in the year 2007. Both these films, too, turned out to be great successes. Thus, Vishal grabbed the attention of film buffs with his consecutive successes, and proved that he is someone to watch out for.

His newly released film, Naan Sigappu Manithan, thriller flick with a plot that revolves around a person who is affected with Narcolepsy. It has turned out to be one of the top films of Kollywood in the year 2014, in terms of profitability. This film has been directed by Thiru, and is the second production venture of Vishal after the 2013 released Pandianadu. Vishal, whose third production project, Poojai, is due to release in 2014, as well, has also been cast as the lead in the film, Naan Sigappu Manithan.

The film, like his previous works, has turned out to be a great success, and thus, the legacy of Vishal’s success as an actor continues. The film has a Telugu dubbed version which has been named Indrudu, and has received a lot of positive response in Andhra Pradesh. According to the trade reports received from the box office of Andhra Pradesh, this film has already managed to do rapid business, and is continuing to do so. It is expected that the collections garnered by this movie will mostly likely supersede the collections made by the Telugu versions of the previous films starring Vishal.

His previous hit film, Sandakozhi was dubbed in Telugu film, Pandemkodi. Thimiru was released as Pogudu in Tollywood, and the Telugu version of the film Thamirabharani was Bharani. All of these films turned out to be great hits not just in the Tamil industry but also in the Telugu film world. The films were not only loved by the audience but also by the critics, and Vishal was specially appreciated for his acting skills. Vishal thus commands quite a good market in the Andhra Pradesh box office which is essentially for Telugu films. Another feather has been added to his hat with the film Indrudu.
