Drushyam is the Telugu remake of Superstar Mohanlal’s Blockbuster Malayalam movie Drushyam. As per Telugu movie news actors Daggubati Venkatesh and Meena Durairaj have been paired together after sixteen long years. While the Malayalam version was a sensational bestseller, the Telugu cinema version too is appealing and impressive.

Compared to the recent trend of Telugu cinema, Telugu news reports this film’s story to be entirely unique and unparallel. The story revolves around a movie cable operator Rambabu (Venkatesh) who is an ardent movie fan in a village near Vizianagaram. He loves watching films and is largely influenced by them. He lives with his wife Jyothi (Meena) and two daughters. Rambabu’s life was happy and trouble free till a sudden confusion and excitement develops when police officer IG Geeta Prabhakar (Nadiya)’s spoiled son Varun encapsulates video of his daughter Anju in fitting room and starts blackmailing her. Before Rambabu comes to know about it Varun dies in the hand of Anju and IG Geeta Prabhakar starts search operation for her missing son.

The happy family drama turns in to a thriller mystery afterwards and shows how Rambabu and his family get frightened and dismayed.  They tried hard to exude the occurrence but it did not appear to be simple. Rambabu then starts his proceedings of preserving his family in a filmy manner.

The film has been directed by yesteryear actress Sri Priya and the entire cast has done justice to their respective roles. It’s a screenplay-based film, a mixture of both family drama and thriller where the characters are the main pillars of the film. According to Telugu movies news this movie has high chances of making good money at the box office.

Spell-binding twists and turns in the story perpetuate the suspense till the end. The way the original Malayalam story theme has been retained in this Telugu cinema remake is incredible.

Venkatesh who always is an apt choice for dewy-eyed roles has delivered one of his best performances in recent times. So has Meena as Venkatesh’s wife. Kruthika and Ester who played the roles of Rambabu’s two daughters have done an excellent task. Ravi Kale too is splendid. And Nadhia also was promising in the role of the cop.

The scenes where Venkatesh devices his daughters on how to deal with the ongoing situation and how to counter the police interrogation were magnificent. The way he implements the ideas from the movies he had gulped for years were fascinating. The entire film infact is interesting and exhilarating, specially the second half.

Needless to say the film is brilliant on technical grounds and the scenic beauty of Araku and Vizianagaram has been radiantly captured by the cinematographer.

Nevertheless the beginning of the film is a little tedious. Some sequences of romance between Venkatesh and Meena seemed to be peripheral and could be avoided in the narration which proves to be boring at times.

Drushyam promises to be a great entertainer in Telugu cinema andgoing y Telugu movie news is definitely a well package product to rule the box-office.
