Santosh Srinivas directed and NTR-Samantha-Pranitha starrer movie “Rabhasa” will not be released on this Independence day as planned before and is now expected to be reach out to the fans about two weeks later, i.e., 29th August, on the occasion of Ganesh chaturthi. After “Brindavanam” and “Ramayya Vastavayya,” in this movie Samantha has paired up with NTR for the third time. Pranitha is sharing her screen space for the first time with Jr NTR.
Sounds from the Telugu movie news during the grand timing of music release of Rabhasa, the producer Suresh Bellamkonda had confirmed that the film will definitely release on this August 15. But now it seems that the producer couldn’t hold on with his promise as the present release date for Rabhasa has been postponed and it will hit the silvers screen on August 29. This Bellamkonda Suresh production possibly faced a massacre of CG troubles due to which this postponed was sure to be happening. But the release date delay of Rabhasa is surely going to dampen the courage and excitement of the fans of Nandamuri who were ardently waiting to watch Jr NTR in action sequence.
Teja’s Power will come on the same day
Power, under the direction of Bobby and produced by Rockline Venkatesh, has its grand audio release at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on August 10. Featured by Ravi Teja as leading male Hansika Motwani and Regina Cassandra as leading ladies, while cinematography is handled by Arthur A. Wilson and Jayanan Vincent. The action package is produced by the Rockline Entertainments banner. Power is shceduled to release on the same day as Rabhasa. The name Power has come with its meaning in Telugu movie news recently in for Ravi Teja’s new turn as singer and Chakri’s return to his singing too. Before Power Rockline Venkatesh earlier produced Vikram’s Majaa and at the same time backing Rajinikanth’s Lingaa.
The common factor between Rabhasa and Power is that both of these films have Thaman’s music. The movie teaser has been receiving outstanding response for Power. However, with the tittle-tattle that Power is gearing up for its release on the same day as Rabhasa, for both NTR and Ravi Teja there have been high apprehensions and concern among worried fans.
As because the target audience for both the films being a huge mass, and also release of two big movies fans on same day, it can limit theaters too, and fans did not want a clash between these two and Power movie makers honor their apprehensions.
Jr NTR is quite unhappy and worried about this new release date and he had spoken with Bellam Konda to take another look on his decision. As per information Bellam Konda is in discussion with buyers on planning the new release data.Till now in festive seasons the big heroes used to release their blockbusters on the same day. They always try to circumvent the clash at box office in other days. So to save both movies and make a good boxoffice record, it is quite clear that any one of Ravi Teja or NTR will drop from this conflict and very soon there will be announcement on latest date for release of either Rabhasa or Power.
If two star featured films hit the screens on a single day, one film gains more reception and the other gets no importance in most of the similar situations. So, at least maintaining a 1 week gap between two big releases has become smoothing the situations.
According to the trade perspective, the two big releases on the identical day would snatch each other profit. So fans will have to wait and watch if the makers take some evasive steps to avoid any clash at box office.
