We all have heard about the nature’s disastrous storm which had been named as Hudhud. This storm has brought about a fierce bang in the Tollywood industry too. It has been days when there was a shoot going on for Current Theega, a Telegu film when there was a sudden hit of the storm at the studio as well as on the spot. This cyclonic hit has not only destroyed the surroundings of Vizag but also inflicted a blow to the film trade, especially in the regions of north coasts. Many of the theatres, studios and shooting spots have been shattered with this tremendous blow. The places all over couldn’t be recognized at all. This stunning news fired like any other mega news.
Closed theatres for a small period- worried the distributors and producers.
Due to this tremendous cyclonic hit, the owners of the industry along with the management had come to a common decision of shutting the theatres for a short time. The theatres were badly damaged, the glasses and the window panes were broken and scattered inside and outside. The seats inside the halls were not at the same place. In fact there was a huge destruction in these areas. There is no news about the re- opening of the theatres/ halls. First of all everything has to be constructed once again and repaired, if worthy or else replaced completely. The chairs were destroyed like the straws and hays. The trees were uprooted and thrown away in a blow. There was no power and networks, thus no connectivity with the other regions for help. Though there were rescue team but this loss are no more in the condition of stabilization. The halls were closed till few days and there was a huge loss to the makers of the current films which were on the run during those days. The leading stars and distributors were very worried regarding this matter as they too were undergoing this pain of industrial destruction.

We all are aware of this industry and also know that there are more than 200 theatres in the regions of Uttarandhra. All of the screens run as a single show theatre and as a multiplex as well. Because of this cyclonic destruction there was a\n adverse impact on all of them. There was a loss in the revenue collection too. It is not a secret that this industry has collected more than crores in a year, as recorded, but this cyclonic loss has turned everyone stunned. On the other hand there was a postponement in the recent releases. On asking the producers and the distributors they just argued that it was not a time for any kind of fun and entertainment, they have suffered a huge loss and are in a mood to re construct the Telugu film city once again.
