‘I’ the movie
‘I’ is a new Tamil movie directed by Shankar .The main leads are Vikram and Amy Jackson .Most of the shooting of the film was done in China and it takes almost two years to shoot. The music is given by the famous A.R Rahman .The movie starts with the scene of a hunchback illegally taking Amy Jackson away to a big mansion on her wedding day. The hunchback is going around for taking revenge. The movie is in the telugu movies news for its unique concept
The revenge story
The name of the character played by Amy is Diya and that of Vikram is Lingesan. Ravi another character is always jealous of Lingesan as he is a competitor of Ravi in the Mr. Tamil Nadu contest. Then Lingesan gets an opportunity and goes to China. There he gets many assignments and became very famous which offends many persons and attracts a transgender make up artist. This is when Diya come close to him to get rid of John (played by Upen Patel) .Due to this closeness between Diya and Lingesan John and other antagonist plot a plan which leads to the transformation of the handsome hunk Lingesan into a hunchback due to the injection given to him which contains the influenza virus. Vikram’s acting is much talked about in the telugu movies news.
Director making headlines now a days
The film director Shankar is now a days in telugu movies news after the release of his much awaited film I as after its release the director has been unknowing involved in a wrath with the transgender .The community has found some scenes which are objectionable and against their community and that hurt their feelings .The community is upset because of the make-up artist character played by the famous transgender Ojas M. Rajani . In the film the make up artist has been seeing lust over the actor Vikram which upsets the community very much against which they have said that they want the director Shankar to remove all these scenes from the movie. Also they said that they will lodge an official complaint against the director for the same in the police. The transgender TV personality Rose Venkatesan has also said that the scene portrayed in the film has shown the community as some sex starved individuals. In protest a group of transgender staged in front of the director’s house. As we all know that the transgender community has always been laid back by the other communities in all fields. So which is also a reason why they may feel always left out from other persons? And so any issue regarding the community may hurt their feelings? In the same way the movie I which is currently running well in the box office has a scene of a transgender which in a way has hurt their emotions and so it didn’t go well down with the community and so turned out to be a protesting situation for the community peoples which has been a very difficult condition for the director Shankar.
