Dohchay is an upcoming Telugu movie which has been written and directed by Sudheer Varma and produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad. The film is being shot under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. The leading roles of this film are being played by Naga Chaitanya and Kriti Sanon. Besides them, there are a number of reputed artists appearing in several roles of varied importance in this movie. The prominent among the other artists appearing in this movie are Brahmanandam, Ravi Babu, Pooja Ramchandran and Posani Krishna Murali. The music for this movie has been composed by Sunny M. R. and Richard Prasad and Karthika Srinivas has done a marvelous work with the cinematography and editing respectively. The official launch of the movie took place on 12th June 2014 at Film Nagar in Hyderabad and the principal shooting commenced on 14th July 2014.
The Film
Akkikeni Naga Chaitanya has not been able to keep up to the expectations in his previous two films “Autonagar Surya” and “Oka Laila Kosam” and this movie could prove to be an important one in his career and his fans and critics are sincerely hoping that he passes this test with flying colors. This movie has been tagged as an action packed romantic entertainer and the film director and producer are equally optimistic of the overall success of the movie. For a long time the title of the film was not announced and kept a secret until the 17th of February, 2015 when Chaitanya formally disclosed the name through his twitter account. Chaitanya has revealed in an interview that this movie is a mix of con drama and action and he plays the role of a very sharp witted conman in this film.

The first look poster of this movie is finally unveiled wherein Naga Chaitanya is sporting a different look and this has been admired by his fans. The poster is taken from an action sequence wherein Chaitanya is being seen jumping off a fast moving car. This poster is being revealed in such a way as the viewers would not have much idea as regards the plot of the overall story of the film and keep the suspense and the secret prevailing for some time. Also, the different type of look being sported by Chaitanya wherein he is appearing more sharp and agile and much more macho has obviously won over the hearts of his fans who are awaiting for the release of more posters in order to have an in depth insight into the plot of this upcoming movie.
The Verdict
There have been a lot of expectations and hype surrounding this movie and the industry expects good results from this film. However, it is too early to make any comments or to draw any conclusion as plenty of unexpected things could happen after the movie finally hits the silver screen. Naga Chaitanya has failed miserable in his previous two releases and has worked extremely hard behind this film and there is no doubt as regards the fact that success in this movie could open up new avenues in his career.
