Shruti Hasan is the daughter of the famed South Indian actor Kamal Hasan and a very well known face in the South Indian film industry. She has had a number of hit films to her name. Very recently, she also made her acting debut in Bollywood opposite Imran Khan. However, she is best known for her films in the South. She has a large fan following because of beauty, grace and versatile acting skills. Over the years she has been seen walking the ramp at several fashion shows as well. The bug of cinema was always present in Shruti Hasan. In fact, with her parents there to guide and support her it was already in her DNA. The budding actress is now ready to launch her own production house called Isidro. The production house will mainly be focusing on multi lingual films as well as leaning towards new age digital, multimedia and musical content. In fact, Shruti is also a well known singer with a couple of hit songs in different films of Bollywood as well as Kollywood to her name.
The journey taken
The journey of Shruti Hasan so far is an interesting one. Both father and daughter are very proud of the fact that throughout this entire journey there was no strings that were pulled anywhere. The entire career in films was carved out individually by Shruti with a little advice from her father. She is now quite successful, working across three different industries and singing a number of catchy tracks across different languages. She has seven films to her name with a number of films in Bollywood for 2016. However, with the production house she has taken her cinematic dream a bit further. However, the musician in her will not allow the production house to be simply limited to content based on short features. With this production house she hopes to create a revolution in the Indian musical circuit by releasing her own music as well as that of some new, young and independent music artists pan India. It is a venture to support the new talents emerging in the industry every year.
The release lineup
The young actress has quite a lineup in 2015 with her own work. In Bollywood she has Welcome back, Yaara and Rocky Handsome. In the South Indian film industry she is slated to appear opposite such superstars as Vijay, Suriya, Ajith, and Mahesh Babu and so on. She has a number of releases across the Tamil and the Telegu industry. She will also be seen with Ajay Devgan in Bollywood.
