We all remember Makhi, how a lover who turns into a house fly and protects his love from his evil boss. Few people remember the makhi or his lover but everyone remembers the boss and his wonderful acting skills though he was afraid of a small house fly (tiny would sound better). The boss was played by the actor cum director Kichcha Sudeep. Though being a seasoned actor and has acted in many movies as hero, villain. Sudeep takes great joy in directing movie, as per him it is a very tiring job and takes lots of commitment and scheduling to take out time for his acting career. His first director venture, Maanikya has received good opening collection and reviews. He is in thought about his next movie and it is said the he is going to remake the 2013 Telugu Comedy Drama Attarintiki Daredi in Kannada, this movie had been a block buster of the previous year and had bagged many awards including the best entertainer of the year.
The lead role was played by Prabhas Kalyan who was recently in news for congratulating Modi and TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu for the election victory in the elections. Prabhas would be replaced by Sudeep himself, let’s see whether Sudeep has the comic timing of the Powerstar or not. The actual movie was released on 27 September 2013, and was produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad and Reliance Entertainment. Devi Sri Prasad had given the music to the movie and Samantha was in the leading for the opposite gender. The English translation ‘which way is Aunt’s House’ (does sound comical for an Indian Movie) was directed by Trivikram Shrinivas. The movie also starred Boman Irani and we all are well acquainted of the fact, Boman is a superb comedian and has made a mark though coming late into the industry.
The movie revolves around a story in which the male protagonist goes to his aunt’s place to bring her back to his Billionaire grandfather as he has promised on his 80th Birthday. During his mission period he falls in love with the daughter of his aunt and they go through lots of incident together and at the end we get a happy ending, where the billionaire accepts his daughter, the male lead gets the female lead.
This movie got huge recognition from the fans in matter of the storyline, music and mostly in case of collections. This movie also got lots of awards Margadarsi Big Telugu Entertainment Awards of Best Movie, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Actor in Supporting Role and even the Best Music Director.
This 600 million rupees movie would be a challenge for Sudeep to recreate seeing the amount of accolades it has won and achieved, Sudeep is a powerhouse of talent and has proved it in the past and we don’t whink he would disappoint and now with one hit under his belt, he is sure eager to go for one more road trip down the director’s road.
