After Baanam, director Chaitanya Dantuluri is all set for his upcoming film release. For Actor G Gautham, son of the magnificent comedian Brahmanandam, Basanti is the comeback venture in Telugu film industry. The Basanti team has started launching its songs. Recently, Jr. NTR has released a much praised teaser of the music video Pratheekshanam from this movie.
G Gautham and actress Alisha Baig will be seen as the lead pair for Basanti. G Gautham has started his career with Telugu romantic-drama Pallakilo Pelli Koothuru, in the year 2009. This is his third movie after Vareva. Alisha Baig has done Basanti as his third film. She started his career with Zinda in the year 2006, followed by a movie Fear in 2007. While Mani Sharma gave the music, Sreemani wrote the lyrics for Basanti. Basanti is the first venture by the production house ‘START CAMERA PICTURES’. Star director V V Vinayak was also present to unveil the teaser. After the launch, NTR seemed very happy as he said that he liked the performance of G Gautham in the song. He confirmed that he had seen the trailer on Youtube and has thoroughly enjoyed it. NTR has always been a fan of music director Mani Sharma, as his most favourite song Nee Navvula Telladananni, from his own movie Aadi, has been given by the Mani Sharma. Pratheekshanam song was very much praised by JR. NTR and he wished the entire team, and especially Gautham to achieve his best from this movie.
On the other hand, director V V Vinayak was very much impressed with the movie logo design. He saw the trailer too and praised it. He took the name of Mrs. Lakshmi, mother of Gautham, and said that the movie must become a big hit for this year. He also added that, he found something innovative about the film. He also liked the way Golkonda Fort was used in Basanti. He wished the Basanti team a good luck for the release.
Vivek Kuchibhotla and Nallamalupu Bujji came together to produce the movie under START CAMERA PICTURES banner. After the launch, G Gautham thanked NTR and V V Vinayak for launching the teaser of the music video. Director Chaitanya Dantuluri was also very happy that first Basanti song teaser was released by NTR, who was the one to release his previous movie (Baanam) songs too.
Basanti’s audio is about to release in Hyderabad, this February. Actor Pawan Kalyan is invited as the chief guest, according to the reports.
