Villainy to Comedy Villainy

Sustaining in the film industry has never been that easy, one has to update himself and compete with the competitors or else he would soon perish. It’s applicable to Hero, Villain or even a Comedian. Of all these three, a villain’s role is at higher risk because of the competition and he has to give his best within the limited screen space.
 
Here we talk about few antagonists who started their career as serious villains and later turned themselves as comedy villains and character artists. The best examples are Jayaprakash Reddy, Kota Srinivasa Rao, and Sonu Sood who added humor to their villany and been entertaining the audience. Now, there’s a new name in the reckoning.
 
His name is Madhu Singampalli, the famous baddie on small screen, he grabbed the attention with his superb acting with the latest release Devakatta’s Autonagar Surya. Madhu is not a newbie as he comes from the television background and has done few blink and miss appearance in few films, though he had a lengthy and crucial role in Prasthanam, his career hasn’t really took off. But with Autonagar Surya he became a revelation.
 
Well, he came with serious villainy but if he is gunning for a long innings he needs to follow the formula, will he do it or not? Let us wait and see.
