Prema Katha Chitram was one trendsetting horror comedy after which many horror comedies came and walked away but Geethanjali is one such film that stood apart with its content and struck gold at the box-office. Now Geethanjali has got a sequel in the name of Tripura and ‘Colors’ Swathi is taking the big leap playing the title role.
This film kicked off with a positive vibe right from the day one and the straight Telugu project turned into a bilingual venture in no time. Now according to the latest reports, Tripura’s satellite rights were bagged by Zee Telugu for Rs 2.60 crores! Trade pundits say it is indeed a great start in terms of the pre-release business. Prominent writer Kona Venkat is not only presenting the film but also providing screenplay it while Geethanjali fame Raaja Kiran is etching the film as yet another edge-of-the-seat thriller.
A Chinababu and M Rajasekar are jointly producing this female oriented film under Crazy media banner and the makers are planning to release the audio soon and the film in month of September.
