The culture of coming up with spoof scenes is quite common in Tollywood but the aspect of coming up with a total spoof movie is rare. This has been happening in Hollywood quite a lot and in India, very few movies of that genre have come up. In a way, Kollywood has been famous for total spoofs.
In Tollywood, we have seen the movie Sudigadu which took references from different movies. But the talk right now is about another project which is being shaped up in Tamil. The film has been titled as Masala Padam and our sources from Chennai reveal this is going to be yet another big spoof.
Buzz is that the team which made another spoof movie called Tamizh Padam is doing this one. Recently, the audio release took place and the songs got very good response. The Tamil audience is keen to see what kind of spoof they would be coming up and who is going to be targeted. Let us wish something like this comes in Telugu as well.
