The choreographer and actor turned director Prabhu Deva always scored hits when he remade his own films in Hindi but when he did straight films, they turned out to be less than satisfactory. During the promotions of his latest release Singh is Bling starring Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, Prabhu Deva openly said that critics always bash his films- irrespective of its commercial success.
Prabhu Deva also emphasized on the point that he makes films which audience can enjoy- rather than just art based projects. But he confessed the void he always felt that he couldn’t impress the critics. Prabhu said that his next film would definitely impress the audience as well as critics alike!
This multi talented personality has already showed his directional prowess earlier in Telugu. Let us hope he repeats the same magic in Bollywood arena as well.
