And now Kona Venkat’s Shankarabharanam movie team also joins the list by extending their financial and medical aid to the people of Chennai. In addition to this, the team has decided to postpone their release across Tamil Nadu.
"Shankarabharanam Team has decided to show solidarity with our fellow Indians suffering from floods in Chennai. We have announced Rs 5 Lakhs worth of Food Medicines which will be handed over directly to the NGO fighting on the ground. The reports of the flood wrath from Chennai are absolutely scary and disturbing. Besides the central and state governments, film celebrities like Siddharth, Rahul Ravindran, Chinmayi, Suirya, Thaman & others are already doing their best to help the victims in spite of the incessant rains. Food packets, Medical Aid and other essential stuff are being transported from Hyderabad and other cities of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.
