After Bollywood, it is Telugu Film Industry which makes films in a nonstop process and on big budgets at a consistent basis. However, the lack of sufficient theatres and halls in the two states has become a pressing concern. In order to construct new theatres, Swadesi group allotted 10,000 crores just for this project.
The project director Moturi Krishna Prasad spoke saying that festival season has become troublesome because of lack of ample number of movie theatres. In order to provide halls for small films, this decision has been taken.
He said that 1000 theatres will be established in the two states and also establish a new film institute under the lines of Pune film institute. The group also plans to form a committee with movie masters like Raghavendra Rao, Tammareddi Bharadwaj and Dasari Narayana Rao for this herculean task.
