There was a time when a ‘short film’ was a wonder but it is no more! We have seen many young shortfilmmakers like Sujeeth (Run Raja Run), Sriram Adithya (Bhale Manchi Roju), Karthik Subbaraju (Pizza, Jigarthanda, Iraivi etc) making it big on the silver screen. Not just directors, even aspiring actors like Sudharshan Reddy (of iQlik’s Naaku Kopamochchindi fame), Anirudh (of iQlik’s Pawan Kalyan Premalo Paddadu) have made their presence felt in the industry.
And now it’s the turn of talented actresses like Chandini Chowdary! This Vizag girl is a popular name in the short film industry but she took the big leap with Kundanapubomma, her debut as a lead actress. This Friday release opened with mixed reviews but Chandini managed to grab attention! Even before Kundanapubomma, Chandini was spotted in a special appearance in Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam.
Unlike many others, Chandini seems to have read the showbiz game pretty well. She already has couple of her films in her kitty including Manu (alongside Brahmanandam’s son Raja Gautam). Well it is indeed good news for the industry that yet another talented Telugu girl is here in the town. Wishing her all success!
