You won’t be much startled when you hear about sleeper hits but you are certainly taken aback when you see surprise hits. This is something which occurs rarely and something like that happened recently in Tollywood with the movie Bichchagadu.
Prior to release, this was literally declined by many and post release, the film went on to touch nearly 28 crores collections. While the run still continues, the trade pundits are now predicting that Bichchagadu will be beaten very soon by another small budget flick.
We are talking about the recent release Pelli Choopulu featuring Vijay Devarakonda and Ritu Varma and according to reports, the potential of the movie is touching near 30 crores which comprises of the gross collections+ satellite rights+ dubbing rights. This would be a huge achievement.
