Mahanati is a forthcoming movie which is touted to be the biopic of late veteran Telugu actress Savitri. The title logo of Mahanati has been unveiled a while ago along with the release date. The movie Mahanati is slated to hit the theaters on 29th March of 2018.
Helmed by young director Nag Ashwin, Mahanati is to star Keerthy Suresh, Samantha, Duqler Salman and many other famous actors in the lead roles. Mahanati shoot is almost completed except the part which would feature the portrayal of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswar Rao.
To play the roles of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswar Rao, young heroes NTR and Naga Chaitanya are being considered. As the release date is out now, the movie may compete with Ram Charan's Rangasthalam, as it is slated for the release at the same time.
