When the magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ was announced people were excited but they immediately dropped their jaws when they heard of the budget. The fact that the film was made at a whopping 150 crores budget made everyone squirm in disbelief. But then, the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli showed what he can do with such a budget.

Since then, many projects have hit the floors with mammoth budgets. However, what we are about to share is something mind boggling. A new movie titled ‘Sangamitra’ is now preparing to hit the floors in Tamil and this is touted to be a fantasy adventure treat. While that is fine, the shocking part is, the film is being made with a budget of 450 crores.

This kind of budget is unheard of in Indian film history and it would take a long time before someone else can make a movie on that figure. Helmed by Sundar C, the film is going to have Jayam Ravi and the raw hunk Arya as the main leads. Only time will reveal whether this record breaking budget movie will really turn out to be a viable one at the box office or not.
