Pooja Hegde is one the leading heroines of Tollywood and she’s a heart throb now. The actor made her Telugu debut with Mukundha and later did Oka Laila Kosam. It was Duvvada Jagannadham which garnered her a break and her latest release Saakshyam is doing well at the box office. In this interview, the actor shares her experiences.
“Saakshyam comprises a young and energetic team. Including Sreenivas, all of us were budding artistes and the project was very important for us to bag a hit. I enjoyed being a part of the movie and was really happy when I was approached by the makers. The role was also quite different from what I have performed till now. It was a traditional and glamorous role. So I couldn’t say no,” said the actor.
Pooja has three big proejcts lined in Telugu with three top actors. She will be seen in Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, pairing with Jr NTR. She is also shooting for Vamsi Paidipaly and Mahesh babu’s project. After these two, she will take part in Prabhas’ next with director Radhakrishna of Jil fame. In Bollywood too, she is part of Houseful 4.
When asked about being a part so many big projects and how she is balancing it, the actor said that she is a workaholic and loves to keep working. “I am happy to be a part of these projects and the shooting is happening really well. Thanks to the directors for choosing me. I hope I keep impressing them like this and keep up to their expectations forever,” added the glam doll.
