Among the many star kids that forayed into Telugu cinema in the recent times, one boy grabbed a lot of attention. He is none other than the Akkineni prince Akhil. Prior to his debut, there was a lot of anticipation and many felt he is a promising star who will rise and shine in a quick manner. However, fate had other plans for him.

So far, Akhil has done two movies and they tanked without a trace at the box office. He is currently busy with his third venture which is being helmed by Venky Atluri of ‘Tholi Prema’ fame. While that is on, here is one news which is bringing some hope and confidence for the Akkineni folks. Well, it is heard that Akhil has signed an interesting project.

This one is going to be produced by logic director Sukumar and the best part is, Suku has penned the script. Incidentally, Sukumar gave a big hit for Akhil’s brother Naga Chaitanya in the form of ‘100 Percent Love’ and his scripts are always very different. That way, it looks like Akhil has bagged a solid project to resurrect his career.
