There was a time when the business of cinema was all about on seasons and off seasons and most of the times they relied on the festivals and holiday seasons for making the maximum bucks. However, things have changed and big budget flicks are arriving every month so the analysis is being done on a monthly basis too.

Akin to that, the trade analysts have now come up with the final report of the performance of the Telugu Film Industry during the month of September. It turns out that there is not a single registered hit in the entire month. The only hope now rests on the movie ‘Devadas’ which is slogging hard to get decent numbers.

On the other hand, promising ventures like ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ ‘Nannu Dochukunduvate’ ‘C/o Kancharapalem’ ‘Saamy 2’ and others turned out to be huge disappointments at the box office. Now that September has sunk deeply all eyes are shifted towards October releases hoping it would make up for the vacuum.
