Samantha, who proved that an actress can be successful as a heroine even after marriage is now busy with several films. She is currently busy with Majili in which Samantha pairing opposite her real-life husband Naga Chaitanya Akkineni.

Grapevine is Samantha gave the green signal for another movie. Dil Raju is going to produce the film; Sharvanand is the main lead for the film. It’s a remake, which already scored a big hit in Tamil. Coming to the movie details, it is 96 in which Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha acted as main leads. 96 is not a regular commercial movie. It was dealt with sensitive emotions.

Samantha earlier denied reports about signing the film for Telugu remake. But reports say producer Dil Raju convinced Samantha for the remake recently. Young hero Sharwanand roped Vijay Sethupathi’s role in the Telugu remake and it will go to floors soon.
