Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, a Jr NTR movie, which was released for Dasara in 2018, was recently premiered in televisions. The film was directed by Trivikram Srinivas and hot beauty Pooja Hegde romanced with NTR. Though Aravinda Sametha got good reviews, the film failed to touch 100 Cr (Share) mark.
In the meantime, Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava also failed to attract small screen audiences and got only 13.7 TV rating points. Last year, with Geetha Govindam, ‘Rowdy’ Vijay Deverakonda chaired top as the film got 20.51 TRP ratings. While Rangasthalam settled for second place with 19.50 rating points, Bharat Ane Nenu got third place. On the other hand, movies are now streaming in digital platforms like Amazon prime etc and it is the real problem for TRP ratings a cine analyst asserted. But fans of heroes are quarrelling via social media about TRP ratings.
The time of telecast and the competition between movies which are telecasted at the same time may affect TRP ratings, a film critic expressed his view.
