With Naan Ee (Eega in Telugu), Aaha Kalyanam and Veppam (Sega in Telugu), Natural Star Nani has earned a good reputation in Kollywood also. But, he did make any further attempt to cash in on his Tamil market later. With a view to expand his horizon and garner some moolah from Tamil, the makers of his next film are planning to serve his project there as well.
Given the unprecedented track record of Nani and with confidence on the subject, the makers of 'Jersey' are planning to release it in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Jersy is an interesting story of a 36-year old cricket enthusiast, played by Nani, who loves to fulfil his dream of cricket. An official announcement about the release in two languages would be out soon.
Touted as a sports drama, the film is directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, who debuted with a well-appreciated film 'Malli Raava'. The very inspiring lines in the teaser have made Jersey an anticipated film to watch out for. Natural Star is romancing Shraddha Srinath in this movie.
