Telugu Remake Of '96' Officially Launched

On the very auspicious Ugadi day, the makers of '96' Telugu remake held its low-key launch event in Hyderabad. Actor Sharwanand, filmmakers Vamshi Paidipally, Indraganti Mohan Krishna, Harish Shankar, producers Dil Raju and Sirish have graced the event and officially launched it.

The Telugu version of '96' will feature Samantha and Sharwanand in lead roles. While the first clap was given by Vamshi Paidipally, the muhurtham shot was filmed on Sharwanand. C Prem Kumar, who directed the original, is going to make it in Telugu as well. The camera work will be handled by J Mahendran, music by Govind Vasantha and editing by Sreekar Prasad.

The principal shoot begins from this month end in Kenya. Post 15 days of the shoot there, the next schedules will take place in Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam. About the new collaboration, actress Samantha tweeted - 'This team is So grateful .. to be working with this amazingly talented group .. God is with us."
