Chiyaan Vikram, after two back to back flops with Sketch and Saamy 2, is back with another film, called Kadaram Kodan and the actor has pinned up a lot of hopes on this thriller as he needs a hit. Directed by Rajesh M Selva, the film has Akshara Haasan and Abi Hassan too. The film is releasing in Telugu as Mr. KK on July 19 and the actor was in town to promote the film and here is what he said.

“Mr. KK has a lot of international standards and technicalities which are very high. They will help in making the film look richer in quality. Rajesh, the director is very tech-savvy and is clear about what he wants. It was very nice working with him and I am sure the audience will really like this film,” said the Sivaputhrudu star.

Kamal Haasan was offered the film first, but he couldn’t do it as he entered politics. So the script came to Vikram and he really liked it. At the pre-release event, Kamal Haasan appreciated Vikram for doing the film and called him a stylish actor who can do any role very easily.

“I play the role of the hero who has come negative shades. So you cannot understand whether I am doing a positive role or a negative one. It was very exciting to play the role. Kamal sir watched the first copy and even he liked it very well. Glad that he has liked it. Akshara has done really well and having her on board was great,” added the actor.
