Artist Venu Madhav has undoubtedly been one of the most popular comedians shows in Telugu Film Industry. Starting his career as a mimicry artist, he went to work with several star heroes and directors.
In one of his recent interviews, Venu revealed that he got his first salary from Telugu Desam Party office, where he worked as a Telephone operator to connect the calls to former CM Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The actor further revealed that his first salary was a total sum of Rs 600. It was later when he realized that he should give more stage shows as a mimicry artist. Once, when he was doing a stage show at Ravindra Bharati, veteran SV Krishna Reddy noticed his talent gave a role in his film 'Sampradayam'.
Later, he began a very popular comedian in the industry. After Sampradayam, Venu worked in Chiranjeevi's Master (1997). In his career spanning more than two decades, he shared screen space with several stars and maintained a good equation with all of them. He was lastly seen in the film 'Paramanandaiah Students' in 2016.
