Bollywood actress Rekha has received the prestigious ANR award yesterday as Mega Star Chiranjeevi has presented the award to her. While speaking about the bonding with Telugu films, Rekha said that she is a Telugu girl and she is proud to be Telugu.

Rekha’s mother Pushpavalli acted in several Telugu films long ago. However, Rekha hasn’t done many films in the Telugu language. She has got huge popularity in Bollywood and she has settled in Mumbai for a long time.

More interesting is, Rekha has revealed that she will do a Telugu film very soon. “It is all because of my mother. I’ve promised her about doing Telugu film and I’ll do for sure” Rekha said.

“I never speak like this in parliament too,” Rekha said in her speech. Rekha reminds her bonding with Akkineni Nageshwara Rao many times in her speech.
