Popular streaming service Netflix is slowly developing its slate of projects in regional cinema. After announcing an anthology in Tamil, the streamer is gearing up to launch a project in Telugu as well. As per the reports, Netflix is coming up with a project titled 'Love Stories' in Telugu with four directors. Earlier, the company tried to bring 'Lust Stories' for Telugu audiences but there is no clarity on th same. However, Love Stories will release in 2022.

Krish Jagarlamudi, Shiva Nirvana, Ajay Bhupathi, and Nandini Reddy are on board to direct four short love stories for this project. A leading production house from the South will be executive producing the film. The script work is currently in progress and the shoot of the same will hit the floors next year.

Netflix is slowly building up the base in South cinema and if the project becomes a hit, we can expect more projects.
