Vijayashanthi is regarded as one of the Superstars in Indian cinema. The actress turned politician and quit acting. But, she made her comeback recently with the movie Sarileru Neekevvaru. Vijayashanthi is currently with the Congress party but there are speculations that the actress will get shifted to Bharatiya Janatha Party. Earlier, she was with Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Currently, Vijayashanthi is the chairperson of Telangana Congress’s publicity and campaign wing. The buzz is that Union Minister Kishan Reddy recently met Vijayashanti and hold a discussion with her for more than an hour. There are reports that Vijaya Shanthi might join BJP. Vijayashanthi is actively raising her voice against the Telangana government but it is not helping the Congress party. So, BJP wants to take advantage of the same.

Vijayashanthi's addition to the BJP Telangana cadre would surely help the party gain more recognition. As of now, Vijayashanthi is silent on these speculations and we have to see if she has anything to say.
