Malayalam megastar Mammotty was impressed with Surender Reddy's Agent script. The actor reportedly gave his nod to be a part of this Akhil Akkineni starrer. Mammotty is said to have given bulk dates for the film and is charging 3 Cr as a remuneration. Meanwhile, there are a lot of speculations on the actor's character.

Contrary to the rumors, Mammotty is not playing a negative character in the film. The Yatra actor is going to be seen in a positive role, as Guru to Akhil. Akhil will be seen as a secret agent in this action thriller. Akhil and Mammotty combination scenes are going to be a major highlight of the film.

Anil Sunkara is bankrolling the project under the AK Entertainments banner. The film unit will soon officially confirm Mammotty's presence in the project.
