Ranveer Singh-starrer 83 is one of the most-awaited films in Bollywood. This sports drama is all set to hit the theatres on December 24. Directed by Kabir Khan, this movie is based on the Indian Cricket Team's victorious World Cup campaign in 1983. The trailer of this film was dropped this morning.

Going by the trailer, the movie showcases the journey of the Indian cricket team in becoming the world champions. They enter the tournament as underdogs and are mocked by various people. But under the leadership of Kapil Dev, the team fights their guts out and wins the world cup.

Along with Ranveer, this film features Pankaj Tripathi, Jiiva, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saahil Khatter, and Jatin Sarna in the other pivotal roles.
