Nayattu is one of the super successful films in Malayalam and the Telugu film industry already grabbed the remake rights of the film. The film's remake is being made in Telugu and Geetha Arts will be bankrolling the film. The original had Nimisha Sajayan, Jojo George, and Kunchako Boban in the lead roles.

Initially, the film had Rao Ramesh, Priyadarshi, and Anjali playing the lead roles but due to several reasons, there are changes in the cast and the film's director.

As per the latest reports in the film nagar, the film will now feature Srikanth, Sivani Rajasekhar and Rahul Vijay in the lead roles. Earlier, it was Karuna Kumar who is the director of the film. But now, we hear that Teja Marni is the director of the film.
