DJ Tillu starring Sidhu Jonnalagadda was released earlier this year and bagged stupendous success. While Sidhu Jonnalagadda penned the story for this movie, Vimal Krishna directed it. Neha Shetty played the heroine.

With the film's success, the film team announced its sequel as Tillu Square. However, the director of the film is changed and also the film is facing a lot of issues for finalizing the lead actress as well.

The makers have Initially said Sree Leela will be playing the lead actress role, but later she was replaced by Anupama Parameswaran. But, according to the latest reports, Anupama Parameswaran also dropped out of this project due to unforeseen reasons. It is also reported that Premam fame Madonna Sebastian got replaced in place of Anupama.
