The day began with sad news for the film industry. Renowned dubbing artist Srinivasa Murthy passed away in Chennai after suffering a heart attack. He's prominent for lending his voice to the tamizh stars like Surya, Ajith, Mohan Lal, Rajasekhar and much more.
Although he worked for a long time in the industry, he didn't get much fame until very recently. He rose to fame after giving a couple of interviews for the then-new independent channels on YouTube. Even stars like Surya, and Vikram have showered compliments for his work and he was their Telugu voice for more than a decade. Srinivas won a Nandi Award for Best Male Dubbing Artist for his work on the Rajasekhar starrer Sivayya in 1998.
Dubbing artists are also the victims of unpopularity and they often go unrecognised on various platforms too. Many big personalities from both Tamil & Telugu industries have expressed their condolences and opined that it is very rare you come across such a talented artist and losing him at such a young is really dramatic.
