The movie Tholiprema is considered one of the classic love stories. Karunakaran got instant fame for his direction too. After a gap, Karunakaran has directed the movie Tej I Love You. Tej I Love You, which is expected to be the comeback movie for Sai Dharam Tej who has been getting back-to-back flops, hit the screens today. Read for the full review.

Story Line:

Tej's parents get killed in an accident in the childhood, he is brought up by his aunt and uncle. His aunt and uncle's upbringing is no lesser than his parents. But, in an attempt to save a person, Tej gets arrested. He gets drifted with his family.

Tej tries to tease a girl named Nandini, who is a London-return. He gets booked by the police. Strangely, Nandini falls for Tej. Even before she expresses her love, she meets with an accident and her memory gets erased to an extent. What happens next is to be watched in the theaters only.

Roles and Performances:

Sai Dharam Tej and Anupama Parameswaran have justified their roles well. Sai Dharam Tej's energy is one of the plus points. Anupama is beautiful.

The other actors like JP, Pruthvi etc have done their roles well.

Analysis:

The basic concept of the story is a routine one. Memory loss in love stories is not at all a new thing. Karunakaran has stuck in the same old concept as in his other movies Darling, Endukante Premanta etc. Though the story is a routine one, Karunakaran normally has a typical style in portraying the love scenes between the loving couple. But, this formula has failed in this movie Tej I Love You.

The story lacks minimum logic, with okay okay entertaining factors. So, the movie is not engaging.

Technical Aspects:

Gopi Sundar's music is good here and there. With a couple of good songs, the music is in sync with the story narration. The camera work is too good, with the rich capture of fine sceneries. The screenplay is mediocre, with the 90's template narration. Production values are good.

Plus Points:

+ Sai Dharam Tej's energy
+ Anupama Parameswaran's beauty
+ A couple of songs

Minus Points:

- Story
- Narration

Final Verdict: Karunakaran's 90's template is not appealing, another flop for Sai Dharam.
