Arjun Suravaram starring Nikhil Siddarth and Lavanya Tripathi finally hit the screens. The movie got delayed multiple times and it hits the screens finally today. Kanithan fame TN Santosh directed the film and it marks his debut as a director in Telugu. The movie is also the remake of Kanithan where Nikhil plays an investigative journalist. Story:
An investigative reporter Arjun Suravaram (Nikhil) gets arrested and realizes that he is a victim of a fake degree certificate racket. Untile he gets arrested, he does not get to know that he got cheated. Having lost the job and career at stake, Arjun Suravaram decides to track down the person responsible for this scam and wants to put him behind the bars. How did Arjun find the person behind it? What did Arjun do to save his career? What happens in the end? Forms the story of the movie.


Performances:
Nikhil is undoubtedly the show stealer of this movie. The actor who portrayed a different kind of role in this movie when compared to its previous movies has justified his role and has given his 100%. We can see that Nikhil has worked really hard for this movie and his hard work is visible in each and every scene. Lavanya Tripathi is looking beautiful in the film. Though her character doesn't have any importance, her screen presence is good and watchable. Posani Krishna Murali and Vennela Kishore delivered decent performances in the film. Nagineedu justified his role. Satya Kishore, Tarun Arora are too good in their roles. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.


Technical Aspects:
Director T Santhosh has made some major changes to the plot line so that the audience can easily relate to the story. T Santosh has succeeded in narrating the story in an interesting way and keeping the audience engaged throughout the film. Though the screenplay is slow, the director could have done better in the story execution. The production values of Rajkumar Akella under Movie Dynamix LLP are very high. Music by Sam CS is one of the major highlights of the film. Especially the BGM worked out really well for the movie. Cinematographer Suryaa has produced from sleek and brilliant visuals for the movie. Editing by Navin Nooli is good.


Analysis:
The movie starts off on an interesting note and the entire first half is very engaging. The audience will connect really well with the story and even the narration is also good. The pace of narration gets extremely slow in the second half and the director has failed to execute the story properly. However, Nikhil's outstanding performance is one of the major driving factors for this movie. The actor has carried the entire film on his shoulders and will be the biggest plus point of this film. Performances, BGM will be the biggest highlights of the film, whereas the weak screenplay and execution of the storyline will be the minus points of the film. Overall, 'Arjun Suravaram' is a decent movie and can be watched once.
