Kabir Khan is one of the brilliant directors. The director worked hard and has displayed great talent by bringing all crafts together to perfection. The making is extraordinary. The production design is excellent and the costume designer too worked hard to bring the colors and designs of those days. The music is good and the background score elevated the emotions perfectly. The camera work is nice. The production values are grand.

The film's first half traces the journey of Indian cricket through different struggles and difficulties and insults. It was very emotional and the second half is all about how Team India fought back in bringing glory to the country. The scene placements are extremely good. The biggest minus of the film is not showing the individual journeys of the characters of the film. The film appears slow because it is focused only on the world cup segment.
