The maestro –

The world of cinema today runs on money making business. The world of theater to has followed en-suite. This of course has led to the quick degradation of the fine philosophy of art which is of course based primarily on appreciation. The film industry of course has been lucky enough however to have in their midst talented individuals who are both dedicated to their work and do not work for materialistic games – the offbeat and art film makers. In this category the most famous person to name would be of Kalatapasvi Viswanath. His movies are such exquisite examples of Indian fine arts that he was conferred the title Kalatapasvi which is essentially stands for a sage who treats film as an art of divine nature. Each of his movies is actually a master piece and his very often regarded as milestones in the world of cinema because in each of his movies he unveils a splendid side of the art and culture of Indian traditional life. He is probably one of the very few who has one innumerable awards in his name starting with 10 national awards, 12 filmfare awards and last and not the list 10 Andhra Pradesh state awards. His achievements were not obscure as he was the one whose movie “Swatimuthyam” marked the official entry of the Indian cinema into Oscars of the year 1986.
