The glitz and glamor in Hyderabad fashion week 2013
Fashion and the film industry have always walked side by side all the times. We have seen many great models have turned into stars and at the same time many actors as ell actresses walking the ramp at many fashion shows. Both the industries are related to glamour and thus this similarity has brought them close to one another. Thus very recently the Hyderabad fashion week 2013 was held in which many renowned Tollywood heroines were seen taking active an eager participation. Designers from all around India were seen flocking down here and display their best in the fashion show.
The glamour in the Hyderabad Fashion Week
There were total three days for which the event was held and on the first day, there were the presence of many elegant styles by many renowned designers. The main stress though it seemed were given in the bridal collections and thus many designers have actually designed outfits fit for the occasion and were also very stylish. The presence of the Tollywood heroines has added extra glamour to the event. A very renowned designer Jaya Misra brought forward her wedding collection at the Hyderabad International Fashion Week, 2013. The name of the collection was given Oppulance. Encouraged by ‘Antique Jewelry Box’, the assortment offered a sophisticated and different approach to eternal styles. Models walked up and down the ramp and displayed fashionable bridal wear consisting of decorated saris, flared lehengas as well as anarkalis. The main twist in the show was that there were a total of four show-stoppers for the occasion. They were none other than Rochelle Maria Rao, Navdeep, Puunam Khaur and Vinita Chandran. All the dresses were a mixture of modern concepts with the old fashioned styles. The show stoppers were genuinely very happy to wear the designer outfits and they also said that they really love her styles as they were always a mixture of different themes and concepts but yet very stylish. There were the collections by many other designers as well. AD Singh had also unveiled his collection and the collection consisted of mainly gowns with long slits or some sexy outlooks. More or less the fashion week was a huge success as the people of Hyderabad really enjoyed it.
Critical response of the fashion week
Though the event was flawless, there were some critical responses associated with it. According to many fashion analysts, the event was a total failure as there were no buyers’ invited. Moreover, Hyderabad also had no such great sense in fashion as it only focused on heavy embroidered materials. But according to a renowned social worker, the city have evolved a long from the past and thus, at present have become enough fashionable to compete with the other cities who boasts of their fashionable outfits.
Conclusion
There are many fashion events held all over India at different times of the year and this specific event has really attracted many designers right from its inauguration. It has been a grand occasion here for quite some years and this year the event was held in the fall season. This year also saw exceptions and the gala event was held in one of the most lavish hotels, the HICC, Novotel in Hyderabad. As said earlier, many designers with exotic designs were seen here and the event was really a grand success.
