It is revolutionary to see many veteran Indian cricketers doing movies and much the same trait is going to be followed by Venkatesh Prasad and Javagal Srinath. Both of them will be seen together in a movie directed by the Kannada movie maker, Mohan Shankar known to be Sachin. Like the name suggest the movie is very much inspired from the greatest batman, Sachin Tendulkar and the story revolves around that only. Bapu Krishnarao Venkatesh Prasad who made his debut in the field of cricket in the year of 1996 is now in the coach of bowling for the IPL team known as Royal Challengers Bangalore. The frontline fast bowler Javagal Srinath who is known for taking wickets and together the combination of these two bowlers was any day phenomenal. Now the same combo will share the screen together.
Script
The movie will be very socially applicable as the story revolves around a boy who is suffering from autism and for whom cricket is the world. His role model is the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and his dream is to be become as successful as him. The script and the whole movie are going to be a little out of box as reported by the actor and director Mohan Shankar. Since the problem autism has not very much touched by the Indian cinemas other than in documentary movies so it appears as a whole new story to work upon. The game of cricket is highlighted in the second half of the movie.
Cast and the Crew
Since the movie deals about cricket so the actual cricketers are opted so as to make it more real and touching and according to the director no one understands the game better than they do. Snehit the son of Soundarya Jagadish will be playing the lead role which is inspired by our much beloved Sachin Tendulkar and so the movie also has a tag line which says Tendulkar Alla. He is very much trained for the role and according to the news the game of cricket is his personal favorite too. The role of his mother will be played by the very talented Suhasini Maniratnam. Venkatesh Prasad will be playing the role of a coach in this movie and the shooting for his role has already started. The cast also includes Javagal Srinath and a few members of the team of Ranji from Karnataka. Efforts are still on to feature Sachin Tendulkar for once, but it seems difficult to get him to acting though a sound clip from him could be possible for the film.
Shooting has already started from the 10th of February at a very brisk pace. The music is composed by Rajesh Ramnath for the movie which is to be produced by BN Gangadhar and the cinematography is done by D.Prasad Babu.
Conclusion
The movie is going to be a much awaited release for the fans of cinemas and the world of cricket. Cricket is almost loved and respected by a lot of Indians and considering the story this movie is going to set a different score after its release.
