Shruti Hassan has been singing and composing music for both the South Indian Film industry and Bollywood besides acting. After her role in the film 3 she with her singing voice gave a new way to youth music of today. The same movie launched the sensational young music composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander. His composition ‘Why this Kolaveri Di’ for the film 3 was hummed by almost the whole crowd and with 72 million views it was viral on you tube. Shruti Hassan has also done a song for the Bollywood movie Luck which casted Imran Khan and it brought the Shruti’s rock singer status on screen under the banners of Sanjay Dutt Productions.
Back with Anirudh
The beautiful actress, singer, musician is back on her singing spree after three long years. In her next Tamil film, Maan Karate she is singing for the music composer Anirudh besides playing the lead female actress role opposite to Siva Kathikeyan. The movie will also be starring Hansika Motwani and according to the twitter updates Shruti enjoyed the whole of the recording process and mentioned the experience to be fun. The music director for the film Deva has also done a song in his own voice with Anirudh and Anirudh danced to the same song in the film with Siva Karthikeyan. Fans are eagerly waiting for the album release as it’s always more or less fun when Sruti works with Anirudh which is expected to be till the 1st of March.
Other Recent Singing Projects
It was reported that she recorded a Tamil song for D.Imman for his upcoming film Yennamo Yedho. Later it was twitted that she had justified the track with her voice. Recently she has done a song for SS Thaman for the film Race Gurram where she was casted in the female lead opposite to Allu Arjun. Shruti has appeared in just two of the Tamil fans both of which didn’t score much on the box office but Shruti proved her acting skills and this is what is keeping her fans waiting for this new release.
