One of the most awaited films in the movie carrier of Naga Chaitanya is going to be Autonagar Surya which was constantly delayed for a very long time. Earlier it was announced that the movie was to be released on 7th of February this year but now it’s again postponed to February 27th. The movie is going to see a grand release on Maha Shiva Ratri. With the amazingly hyped trailers the expectations of the audiences are soaring high with each passing day. Audiences are waiting for the movie to hit the theatres.
Delayed release
It was believed that the movie was delayed because the producers were having a breach in relationship with Nagarjuna though nothing has been confirmed as of now. Before this the movie was expected to be released on January 31st with the audio scheduled to be out on the weekend just after Sankranthi.
Cast and Crew
Directed by Deva Katta the film is based on a political sort of thriller starring Naga Chaitnya and Samantha in the lead roles. Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Kumar will also be seen playing predominant roles in the film. The music which is keeping the audiences at edge and which has set a different level through the promos and the tailors is composed by Anoop Rubens. After the movie Hostel which gained Srikanth Naroj a lot of fame he will be handling the cinematography for this film too and the editing of the film is done by Gautham Raju. It was reported that initially the photography was started in the month of October 2011 and the shooting continued at a brisk pace but due to some monetary issues the shoot was kept on a long pause and was completed in the month of November 2013. This movie will be distributed overseas by HVP distributers. It was initially produced under the banners of R.R.Movie Makers but due to financial trouble it was reported that Akkineni Nagarjuna will now be taking over the project.
According to the reports Nandamuri Balakrishna was earlier selected to play the role of Surya but was later replaced by Naga Chaitanya and this will be his first movie after the demise of the legendary ANR. Nithya Menen and Kajal Agarwal were earlier assigned for the movie but Samantha who made her debut with this actor in the movie Ye Maaya Chesave was later selected. Brahmanandam will be seen playing a funny role in this film and some of his pictures has already been out over the internet and has been receiving a positive response worldwide. Ravi Prakash and Surekhaa Vani will be playing the role of Surya’s parents.

After the success of Prema Kavali and Poola Rangadu this movie will going to be a hat trick to the musical hits. It is reported that it will be one of the biggest commercial hits in the carrier of Naga Chaitanya.
