Tollywood’s superstar, Prince Mahesh, who is playing the lead role in the upcoming Telugu movie, Aagadu, has reportedly been injured on the sets of the movie. The injury took place during the shooting of the song sequence for a song, when he suffered from heavy cramps in his left muscles. The shooting was going on in Bellary, where the shooting of title track took place at the Jindal factory. On receiving the injury, he was immediately rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad, where he was prescribed his a week of bed rest by the doctor. The shooting had to be called off for the day, of course. Unit members have confirmed that the song was on the verge of completion, and there was about one day of shooting left. However, due to the unfortunate turn of events, the shooting has now been paused for a week after which it is expected to resume.
Although MaheshBabu’s injury seemed severeat the moment, he is currently under heavy medication, and is recovering fast from his injuries due to proper rest in his Hyderabad home. Fans have been left shocked at the news, but, are praying for his speedy recovery. The whole incident has already created some controversy when some sources close to the actor dismissed the reports of his injury as nothing but rumours, and confirmed that Mahesh had managed to finish off the shooting before schedule and was back in his home in Hyderabad.
About Aagadu:
Aagadu is a film of action- comedy- romance genre, and has Mahesh Babu playing the role of a police officer. He will be seem romancing Tanannaah on the screen. Tamannaah, too, will be seen, essaying the role of a police inspector. Directed by the famouns South Indian director, SrinuVaitla, this movie is the 2nd time collaboration between Mahesh and Srinu. Mahesh is working for the first time with Tamannaah. Anil Sunkara, GopichandAchanta and Ram Achanta are together producing the movie, while Praveen Varma, UpendraMadhav and Anil Ravi Puri have collaborated in writing it.
The music of the film has been scored by Ghantasala Sai SrinivasThaman Siva Kumar,popularly known as S. Thaman, who is well known for his original and racy numbers. The film was launched at the Ramanaidu studios in Nanakramduda of Hyderabad at the end of October in the year, 2014. The principle photography was officially launched about a month later. The shooting for the film is taking place in the studio of 14 Reels Entertainment. It is expected that the film will hit the theatres in the month of September, in 2014. Edited by M. R. Verma and with K. V. Guhan handling the cinematography, the noted faces starring in the film are Prakash Raj, Sai Kumar, Rajendra Prasad, Nadhiya, Napoleon and Brahmanandam. The film is an important milestone in the career of S. Thaman as a music director, as it is his 50thfilm as a music composer. The audio of the film is expected to be released in the month of August of 2014.
